Some info on this workshop:
Dr Clodagh Harvey is a specialist on the Irish storytelling tradition who has conducted research among storytellers all over Ireland. In this informal workshop she will talk about the two main branches of the storytelling tradition, the kinds of stories associated with each as well as assumptions about gender roles within the tradition. She will share some of her personal experiences with storytellers as well as her favourite stories, and as a group we will look at storytelling in our own lives–ourselves, our families, and our own stories.
